Minecraft Movie Review

Well, it looks like we have yet another video game adaptation on our hands. This time, it's a (very loose) adaptation of the best-selling video game of all time: "Minecraft". Developed by Mojang Studios, "Minecraft" is a free-roaming sandbox game where players can create, explore, and pretty much do whatever they want. Thanks to its massive fan base and pop-culture dominance, a feature-length film has finally been released—after spending 11 years in development. So, did we get a fun, escapist adventure that captures the spirit of the game? Or did Warner Bros. churn out a creatively bankrupt commercial for "Minecraft," showing little to no respect for the beloved source material? Here's our review of "A MINECRAFT MOVIE."
